Pay and Benefits
At Wren, we like to reward our employees for their hard work. And in our factories, rewarding our teams is of the upmost importance. That’s why we pay fantastic hourly rates with a great bonus incentive on top. We also offer great benefits like free access to our onsite gyms and subsidised meals in our two restaurants.
Clean and Safe Working Environment
At Wren, our employee’s safety and wellbeing are important to us. That’s why our factories are a lot cleaner, safer and environmentally friendly than many other businesses.
We’ve also invested heavily in Health & Safety, creating Occupational Therapy rooms to constantly monitor the health of our staff!
Training and Development
Within all three of our factories, we have dedicated training areas to allow us to develop our employees to maximise their potential.
This is one of the reasons many of our management team have progressed through the ranks in to the positions they are in now, including our Directors.
Travelling to Work
We’ve recently invested in two, brand new 63-seater buses to transport our manufacturing employees to and from work. Running 10 times per day between Barton-upon-Humber and the city of Hull, these buses will help with our employee’s commute, whilst helping the environment by reducing congestion and emissions.

Barton-Upon-Humber
The largest of our three factories is based in the market town of Barton-Upon-Humber. This mega factory allows us to keep up with the huge demand from our customers, and is also home to Europe’s largest quartz manufacturing site.
Scunthorpe
Based on the Foxhills Industrial Estate, our Scunthorpe factory is full of state-of-the-art machinery. We are proud to say we own every part of our factory, and it plays a critical role in the production of our fantastic kitchens.
Howden
Our Howden factory may be the smallest of the three, but it has played a huge part in our history. Wren began life in the East Yorkshire town of Howden in 2009 and we now manufacture our kitchens and deliver all across the UK from this same site.
New Barton Factory
Early 2022 will see the grand opening of our new £120million mega-factory in Barton-Upon-Humber. This site will allow us to increase our capacity to 6,000 kitchens every week and will be full of the newest technology and machinery. The factory will also create 700 jobs for the local area, so keep an eye out for more opportunities over the next year!
New Scunthorpe Quartz Factory
In 2019, we opened Europe’s largest Quartz manufacturing facility at our factory in Barton-Upon-Humber. Our quartz worktops are hugely popular with our customers and we are currently delivering over 1,000 of these worktops every week. So, we’ve recently acquired another factory in Scunthorpe which will be bigger, better and more advanced to allow us to keep up with our customers’ demands.
