Award Winners!
At the Real IT Awards 2020, our IT department won the prestigious ‘Project of the Year’ award.
Our dual screen, 3D planning technology, which has been rolled out to all of our showrooms across the UK, saw off competition from huge organisations such as McDonalds, Capgemini and Ricoh to make IT our latest awards winning department.
The UK’s largest IT Centre
In 2020, we invested £3million in building the UK’s largest IT Centre. With a whopping 28,000 sq.ft of floor space, we have created a huge tech hub, which includes 9 video conferencing suites, a cutting-edge IT monitoring centre, a lecture theatre and 2 dedicated VR studios.
From this Centre, we will continue to innovate and prototype new ideas, to ensure we maintain our world-class status in the industry.

At Wren, we encourage all of our employees to come up with innovative ideas for how we can stay ahead of the competition.
Our IT department play a huge part in bringing these projects to life. From state-of-the-art virtual reality software to adapting our processes to an ever changing marketplace, there’s always something new going on at Wren!
Investing in our future
In 2019, Wrens first ever graduate scheme was implemented in to our IT department.
And with over 100 Graduates fresh out of University or College joining our schemes over the last two years, it’s safe to say that we are leading the way in developing the next generation of tech talent in the UK.

Customers can see their dream kitchen before it’s even been delivered using our custom built VR application. Using the latest version of Unity with the newest VR hardware we can push the boundaries with visual quality and providing a great immersive experience.
CAD Kitchen Planner

Our industry leading CAD planner is fully bespoke, written using TypeScript and ReactJS, and is constantly evolving. It allows our customers to draw out their room and build a kitchen while also providing automated intelligent assistance to help prevent any design mistakes.
